a Mediterranean restaurant nestled in the back of a jewelry store on Jewelers Row in Chicago. i was kindly introduced to this spot by my coworkers at the Art Institute when i had my first job out of college, and will forever recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bite in an interesting mixed-use space.
It’s one of the best lunch deals you’ll find downtown and the food is quite good. the falafel sandwich is massive, their tabbouleh is super fresh and bright, and the baba ganoush is smoky and creamy. whether you’re an SAIC student, a tourist, or just hungry and in the Loop, this is my top recommendation. you could even get your watch battery replaced at one of the stalls while you eat!
